A perfect example of this is our recent collaboration with the popular trivia tournament "Prātvēders" (Mind-bender).

The "Prātvēders" Champion Awards: How We Made Them To reflect the fun yet competitive spirit of trivia games, we crafted these awards exactly in the shape of the client's logo.

The Base: Stability is provided by a natural wood base, featuring a gold-colored plate. The plate is meticulously laser-engraved with the placement details (e.g., "Champions" or "1st Place").
The Main Element: The top section is made from thick, clear organic glass (acrylic), custom-cut into the shape of their signature "PV" hand sign logo.
The Print: To make the award pop and match the brand's identity, a vibrant full-color print was applied directly onto the acrylic.

Custom Thank-You Awards for the "Noskrien Ziemu" Running & Nordic Walking Series

Winter has officially been conquered! The beloved "Noskrien Ziemu" (Run the Winter) running and Nordic walking series has successfully concluded its 9th season. To honor this massive achievement and thank the core community, we crafted highly bespoke running event awards that merge modern manufacturing technologies with the story of the entire season.

Award Design & Materials: A Story in Every Detail

When designing these thank-you awards, we wanted them to serve as a complete timeline of the winter challenges.

The Base: The foundation is a solid wooden block painted in an elegant black finish. It features a laser-engraved message "3603 PALDIES" (3603 Thanks), which proudly represents the total number of unique runners and Nordic walkers who participated in Season 9.
The Acrylic Top: The visual journey continues on the top part, made of clear acrylic (organic glass) with full-color UV printing. The design prominently displays all five stages and their dates: Jaunpiebalga, Jaunolaine, Sigulda, Ļaudona, and Talsi. The background graphics seamlessly extend the theme of the official season medal.
The Special Feature: The most unique highlight of this award is the actual Season 9 participant medal (shaped like the number "9") suspended within the acrylic structure. This brilliant touch turns the trophy into a true collector's item.

These awards are built on contrast and minimalism. The base is made of solid, black-painted wood. To add depth and a modern touch, a clear acrylic (organic glass) panel is attached to the front of the wooden block.

Why Laser Engraving Instead of Printing? (And How It Saves Money)

Clients often choose to personalize acrylic with full-color UV printing. However, for this project, to achieve a clean visual identity and optimize costs, we opted for laser engraving.

Laser engraving on clear acrylic creates a beautiful, frosted (silvery-white) effect that stands out perfectly against the black wooden background.
Because the laser engraving process requires slightly fewer technical resources than full-color printing, we were able to manufacture these awards for a slightly lower price while maintaining an absolute premium feel.

In the world of corporate awards, standing out is key. Our recent collaboration with "Primero" and "Mogo" showcases the stunning potential of combining solid glass blocks with advanced UV printing technology.

The Technology: Reverse Printing for 3D Effect These trophies are crafted from thick, high-quality optical glass. To achieve the striking visual depth, we utilized a technique called reverse UV printing.

How it works: The graphic design and text are printed in reverse on the back surface of the glass block.
The Result: When viewed from the front, the thickness of the glass creates a natural magnifying "lens" effect. The vibrant colors and text appear to be floating inside the trophy, creating a sophisticated 3D depth effect.

Custom Wood & Epoxy Traveling Trophy – "Valmiera NEXT" Athletics Award

About the Project On January 3, 2026, the athletics season kicked off at the Jānis Daliņš Stadium with the traditional "Valmiera–Valga" competition. This year marked the beginning of a new tradition: a team classification for the U18 and U20 groups, with winners receiving a custom-made traveling trophy commissioned by the "Valmiera NEXT" society.

Design and Craftsmanship The goal was to create a trophy that is both durable for long-term use and visually striking.

Fusion of Materials: The body of the award is crafted from solid wood, representing strength and tradition. This is seamlessly bonded with a cast epoxy resin base. The frosted, white epoxy creates a modern "ice-like" effect, contrasting beautifully with the warm wood tones.
Details & Finishing: The branding is applied using high-quality color UV printing. To emphasize the international nature of the event, the trophy features raised acrylic cutouts in the shapes of Latvia and Estonia.
Perpetual Design: As a traveling trophy, it features dedicated gold-colored nameplates on the side for engraving winners' names from 2025 through 2036.

This project showcases our ability to combine traditional woodworking with modern resin casting techniques to create unique, high-end awards.

Project: "Noskrien Ziemu" Season 9 Medals (Sigulda Stage)

About the Project: On January 10, 2026, the popular running series "Noskrien Ziemu" kicked off its 9th season in Sigulda. Since the race takes place in challenging conditions (temperatures below -7°C), the awards had to be as solid and durable as the participants themselves.

Design and Execution: Moving away from traditional metal or wood, this time we chose artificial stone. This material stands out with its density, cool touch, and high-quality, "ceramic" feel in the hands.

Unique Shape: The medals are CNC milled in the shape of a "9", symbolizing the series' ninth season. The central cutout adds lightness to the design.
Full-Color UV Print: To reflect the identity of the Sigulda stage, high-resolution UV printing was applied to the white stone base. The design is dominated by geometric orange and brown tones, contrasting beautifully with the white base and the snowy environment.
Personification: Separate designs were created for the podium places (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and "Finisher" medals for all participants.
